How did your company start?
I started my business on my return from a trip to Australia in 2010. I had undergone two work placements at screen printing companies in Melbourne which game me the confidence to create my own company. I began by designing, printing and sewing my own range of textile products that I sold at local arts and craft markets. Since then my business has grown and I now sell online and in boutique shops all over the UK.
What’s your favourite item you make/sell?
My toothpaste print wash bag as it is the very first product I designed for my business and it’s a great seller.
What was your profession before you started Megan Alice England?
I am a textile design graduate who worked as a textile technician in a school in South London before starting my business.
Which item is most popular?
My most popular item at Christmas has to be either my hot wheat bottles or my turkey tea towel. They both make great gifts!
